I bought a Canon 100-400 mm f4.5/5.6 L II super telephoto lens very recently. I took it out in the neighborhood for testing shot in the past weekends. The results are stunning. The lens is extremely sharp and focus is lighting fast. Best of all, the image stabilization system is really superb. I would never imagine I could hand-hold and take a shot with a 400mm lens. I did it with this lens. Many of the photos showing here were taken hand-held.
